By using AskYourDoctor, you agree to both Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) and these Supplemental Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App & AI
AskYourDoctor is an AI-powered tool designed to help you organize your health data and generate questions for your healthcare provider. It provides informational insights based on the data you provide. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider for any health concerns or before making any decisions related to your health or medical treatment.
2. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any data you input or share with the app. You agree not to misuse the app or use it for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
3. Data Privacy & Security
Your privacy and data security are paramount. All sensitive health data is processed on-device or encrypted in transit. We do not store identifiable health data on our servers. You have **full and granular control** over the health data you choose to share with the app and subsequently with the AI. You must explicitly grant permission for each type of health data the app requests access to. You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Health app settings. Please refer to our comprehensive Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, use, sharing, and your rights.
4. Disclaimers & AI Limitations
While the AI aims to provide relevant insights, it is a generative model and may, in rare instances, produce inaccurate or incomplete information ('hallucinations'). You should independently verify any information and not rely solely on the app's output for critical health decisions. The app is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind.
5. Third-Party Services (OpenAI)
AskYourDoctor integrates with OpenAI's API to power its AI capabilities. When you use features that send data to the AI, only the specific, de-identified data you explicitly choose to share is sent to OpenAI. This data is subject to OpenAI’s Enterprise Privacy Policy: https://openai.com/enterprise-privacy/.
6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Supplemental Terms are governed by the laws of California, consistent with Apple's Standard EULA. Any disputes arising from these Supplemental Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in California.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to AskYourDoctor immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Supplemental Terms or the Apple EULA. All provisions of the Supplemental Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
